All in the Method… with Dolores Reynals

The new comedy Web Series from Muzzle the Pig. “All in the Method” sees two flat-sharing brothers who have chosen the poorly paid profession of acting. Believing in “the method” they become their character twenty-four-seven. In episodes 4 and 5 my sister, Dolores Reynals, plays a young Mexican who, along with her family, becomes part of Luke’s insane plan to get into the action hero character. Great job Sis!!

La nueva serie web de comedia de Muzzle the Pig. “All in the Method” muestra a dos hermanos que viven juntos y que han escogido la actuación como profesión. Ambos creen en “el método”, por lo que se convierten en sus personajes las 24 horas del día. En los episodios 4 y 5 mi hermana, Dolores Reynals, interpreta a una joven Mexicana que, junto con su familia, formarán parte del alocado plan de Luke para entrar en el personaje de Héroe de acción. Muy buen trabajo Dolo!!

2ND ARGENTINE FILM FESTIVAL IN LONDON!

For all Londoners, don’t forget to check out the 2nd Argentine Film Festival, London (17th – 21st April 2013).This year’s selection programme brings out Argentine culture diversity. The festival opens with Argentine director Daniel Burman‘s romantic comedy “All In”. 10 features will be introduced by a short music film showcasing some of Argentina’s best new musical talent. There is also a new section, Nuevos Talentos, including 5 short films from Argentina’s young directors. Hope you enjoy it!

Para todos los londinenses, no se olviden de ver el 2 º Festival de Cine Argentino de Londres (del 17 al 21 de abril 2013). Este año el programa resalta la diversidad de la cultura argentina. El festival se abre con el director argentino Daniel Burman en su comedia romántica “La Suerte en tus manos”. 10 películas serán presentadas por un corto musical que muestra algunos de los mejores y nuevos talentos musicales de la Argentina. También hay una nueva sección de Nuevos Talentos, incluyendo 5 cortometrajes de jóvenes directores argentinos. Espero que lo disfruten!

A short Film to close the year!

Yesterday was a long, hot day of shooting with my sister Dolores Reynals, who wrote and stars in this comedy short film, which I co-directed with Maria Marta Neme. Now I only need to take care of the editing, wish me luck!

Sounds Of The World

This week I was working in the local production of “Sounds of the World – Buenos Aires” a project created by StereoSonique Films together with Coca-Cola and Televisa to present the major cities in Latin America through its most representative images and sounds.

With an extensive tour we were able to capture all the diversity, large parks and the streets filled with buses, the old world cafes, colonial architecture, the tango, fun outdoor markets and the hectic pace of the most visited city in South America.

2012 Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting competition has received a record 7,197 entries for 2012 from 66 countries, and the only screenplay submitted from Argentina is mine!
